PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which suppresses vibration by a fluid balancer provided at a rear side of a drum even when the drum becomes large according to increase in washing capacity, and in which repair and inspection of equipment such as the fluid balancer can be performed from an opening of the drum.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a drum 21 having an opening 21a on the front side; an outer tub 23 comprising a water tub 23c having a split surface 23d on the front side and for storing the drum 21, and a tub cover 23b detachably mounted on the split surface 23d; a rear balancer 31 fixed to the drum 21 at a further rear position than the split surface 23d; and a balancer mounting screw 31c for fixing the rear balancer 31 to the drum 21. An outer diameter D3 of the rear balancer 31 is smaller than an opening diameter D1 of the drum 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】洗濯容量の増加に伴いドラムを大型化しても、ドラム後方に設けた流体バランサにより振動を抑制し、ドラムの開口部から流体バランサなどの機器の補修や点検も可能な洗濯機を提供する。【解決手段】前側に開口部２１ａを有するドラム２１と、前側に分割面２３ｄを有し前記ドラム２１を収容するための水槽２３ｃと、前記分割面２３ｄに着脱可能に取り付けられた槽カバー２３ｂとからなる外槽２３と、前記分割面２３ｄよりも後方位置でドラム２１に固定された後方バランサ３１と、該後方バランサ３１をドラム２１に固定するためのバランサ取付ねじ３１ｃとを備え、前記後方バランサ３１の外径Ｄ３が前記ドラム２１の開口径Ｄ１よりも小さいことを特徴とする洗濯機。【選択図】図２
