Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collector which enlarges the surface of an electrode where air flows while securing insulation.SOLUTION: An electric dust collector 1 comprises: a charging part; and a dust collecting part. The dust collecting part comprises: a tabular high voltage electrode plate 8; a tabular collection electrode plate 11; a rib 142 for the high voltage electrode plate; and a rib 141 for the collection electrode plate. The high voltage electrode plate and the collection electrode plate are alternatively parallely arranged while a surface of the high voltage electrode plate faces a surface of the collection electrode plate. The high voltage electrode plate is fixed to the rib for the high voltage electrode plate and includes a first notch part Ca to avoid contacting with the rib for the collection electrode plate. The collection electrode plate is fixed to the rib for the collection electrode plate and includes a second notch part Cb to avoid contacting with the rib for the high voltage electrode plate. A corner part in an opening side of at least one of the first notch part Ca and the second notch part Cb is formed to be a round shape, and at least one of the corresponding rib for the collection electrode plate and the rib for the high voltage electrode plate is formed along the round shape of the corner part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】絶縁を確保するとともに、空気が流れる電極の表面を多くするようにした電気集塵装置を提供する。【解決手段】電気集塵装置1は、荷電部と集塵部とを備え、集塵部は、板状の高圧電極板8と、板状の捕集電極板11と、高圧電極板用リブ142と、捕集電極板用リブ141と、を備え、高圧電極板の面と捕集電極板の面が向き合った状態で交互に平行に配置され、高圧電極板は高圧電極板用リブに固定されるとともに、捕集電極板用リブとの接触を避けるための第1の切欠き部Caを有し、捕集電極板が捕集電極板用リブに固定されるとともに、高圧電極板用リブとの接触を避けるための第2の切欠き部Cbを有し、第1の切欠き部Ca及び第2の切欠き部Cbの少なくとも一方の開口側のコーナー部がアール形状に形成され、対応する捕集電極板用リブと高圧電極板用リブの少なくとも一方が前記コーナー部のアール形状に沿うように形成される。【選択図】図3
