PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine that a shutter provided in a cart is in a closed position.SOLUTION: A hot storage device includes a cart with a thermal insulation box for constituting a cold/hot storage chamber and a station having a storage chamber where the cart is stored. The station includes a heat exchange chamber, a heater, a temperature sensor, a display unit and a control unit. The thermal insulation box includes an opening where an air-duct is connected, and a shutter capable of opening and closing the opening.
