PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a water discharge device which can manufacture a water discharge device capable of being installed on a wall surface with sufficient strength even when a spout member is made in a thin shape.SOLUTION: This invention provides a manufacturing method of a water discharge device (1) for discharging hot and cold water from a water discharge port (1c) of a spout member (8) installed on a wall surface. The method comprises: a preparing step of preparing a cylindrical spout member having a thin and flat cross-sectional shape and an attachment portion reinforcing member (16, 18) for reinforcing an attachment portion of the spout member to the wall surface; an arranging step of arranging the spout member so that a base end portion of the spout member is inserted into the attachment portion reinforcing member; and a joining step of joining an outer peripheral surface of the spout member and the attachment portion reinforcing member and joining an end surface in a base end side of the spout member and the attachment portion reinforcing member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】スパウト部材を薄型に形成した場合でも、十分な強度で壁面に設置することができる吐水装置を製造可能な吐水装置の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、壁面に設置したスパウト部材(8)の吐水口(1c)から湯水を吐出させる吐水装置(1)の製造方法であって、薄型扁平な断面形状を有する筒形のスパウト部材、及びこのスパウト部材の壁面への取付部を補強するための取付部補強部材(16, 18)を準備する準備工程と、スパウト部材の基端部が取付部補強部材に嵌め込まれるように、スパウト部材を配置する配置工程と、スパウト部材の外周面と取付部補強部材の間、及びスパウト部材の基端側端面と取付部補強部材の間を接合する接合工程と、を有することを特徴としている。【選択図】図２
