The method comprises a preparation step for preparing a plurality of exterior parts (8a-8d) formed from a metal thin plate so as to constitute a thin flat cross sectional shape and constitute a bent tubular water discharge device main body, a joining step of joining end faces of the plurality of exterior parts by abutting against each other to form a water discharge device main body, and a polishing step of polishing at least a joint portion (34) of the exterior parts constituting the water discharge device main body.
