Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing a liquid crystal polyester composition excellent in mold releasability and less likely to cause blisters at a high temperature.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal polyester composition is produced by supplying a liquid crystal polyester and a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester to an extruder having a vent portion, and melt-kneading the materials under the condition of a decompression degree of -0.06 MPa or lower in terms of a gauge pressure in the vent portion. The supply amount of the polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester is preferably 0.1 to 1.0 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the liquid crystal polyester.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】離型性に優れ、高温下でブリスターが発生し難い液晶ポリエステル組成物を製造しうる方法を提供する。【解決手段】ベント部を有する押出機に、液晶ポリエステルと多価アルコール脂肪酸エステルとを供給し、前記ベント部の減圧度がゲージ圧で−0.06MPa以下の状態で、溶融混練することにより、液晶ポリエステル組成物を製造する。多価アルコール脂肪酸エステルの供給量は、液晶ポリエステル100質量部に対して、0.1〜1.0質量部であることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
