Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate an optical transmission path of a burst optical signal.SOLUTION: An optical transmission system 10 converts burst data strings into burst optical signals with burst optical transmitters 11a to 11n and optically amplifies and relays the burst optical signal by optical amplifiers 14a to 14o in an optical fiber transmission line 12 and receives by a burst optical receiver 15. A burst optical transmitter 11a has transient response characteristics of an integrating circuit having a time constant equivalent to transient response characteristics of a long-period component of the optical amplifiers 14a to 14o approximated by a differentiating circuit, pre-equalizes the burst data string and outputs a burst signal, and converts the burst signal into a burst optical signal to transmit it to the optical fiber transmission line 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】バースト光信号の光伝送路の長延化を行う。【解決手段】光伝送システム10は、バースト光送信装置11a〜11nでバーストデータ列をバースト光信号に変換し、このバースト光信号を、光ファイバ伝送路12中の光増幅器14a〜14oで光増幅中継しながらバースト光受信装置15で受信する。バースト光送信装置11aは、微分回路で近似される光増幅器14a〜14oの長周期成分の過渡応答特性と同等の時定数の積分回路の過渡応答特性を有し、バーストデータ列を予等化してバースト信号を出力し、このバースト信号をバースト光信号に変換して光ファイバ伝送路12へ送信する。【選択図】図2 |
