Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a long transmission distance network with high reliability at the time of transmission with a small burden.SOLUTION: A first IF11 and a second IF12 for connecting optical fibers can be installed to nodes A, B, and C. Each of the first IF11 and the second IF12 includes a receiver for connecting a reception optical fiber, a transmitter for connecting a transmission optical fiber, and bypass switch sections 11S and 12S configured so as to span a reception signal line to be input from the optical fiber to the receiver and a transmission signal line output from the transmitter toward the optical fiber. Each of the bypass switch sections 11S and 12S forms a bypass route in which conducts the reception signal line to the receiver and the transmission signal line to the transmitter in the normal state, and a signal is looped back from the reception signal line to the transmission signal line when an error occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】長い伝送距離を実現するネットワークに対して、伝送時の高信頼性を少ない負担で実現すること。【解決手段】ノードA,B,Cは、光ファイバを接続する第1IF11、第2IF12を装着可能である。第1IF11、第2IF12は、受信用の光ファイバを接続する受信器と、送信用の光ファイバを接続する送信器と、光ファイバから受信器に入力する受信用信号線と、送信器から光ファイバに向けて出力する送信用信号線とにまたがって構成されるバイパススイッチ部11S,12Sとを有している。バイパススイッチ部11S,12Sは、正常時には受信用信号線を受信器に導通させるとともに送信用信号線を送信器に導通させ、異常時には受信用信号線から送信用信号線に信号を折り返すようにバイパス路を形成する。【選択図】図1
