PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapse accident prevention device capable of preventing debris of a wall body and a pinion wall from falling and hitting workers working in the inner part of an oven as well as workers working in the vicinity of an oven port therein to dismantle the wall body and the ceiling of a combustion chamber of a coke oven and further to construct a new wall body.SOLUTION: The collapse accident prevention device comprises a bridging member spanning the upper end of a pinion wall and the upper end of a flue of a wall body disposed on a side opposite to the pinion wall relative to a wall body to be repaired, a wall body side position fixing member fixed to one end of the bridging member to abut the side face of the flue, a pinion side position fixing member fixed to the other end of the bridging member to abut the side face of the upper part of the pinion wall, a rod-shaped panel hanging member held horizontally at the lower end of the pinion side position fixing member to hang a protection panel, a reverse U-shaped hanger fixed to the upper end of the protection panel to be hung by the panel hanging member together with the protection panel, and a V-shaped hook fixed to the lower end of the protection panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】コークス炉の燃焼室の壁体および天井を解体し、さらに新たな壁体を構築するために、炉内の窯口近辺のみならず奥部で作業する作業員に、壁体やピニオンウォールの破片が落下してあたるのを防止できる崩落事故防止装置の提供。【解決手段】ピニオンウォールの上端と補修を行なう壁体の反ピニオンウォール側に位置する壁体の煙道の上端とに跨る架橋部材と、架橋部材の一端に固定されて煙道の側面に当接する壁体側位置固定部材と、架橋部材の他端に固定されてピニオンウォールの上部の側面に当接するピニオン側位置固定部材と、ピニオン側位置固定部材の下端に水平を保つように保持されて保護パネルを吊り下げる棒状のパネル垂下部材と、保護パネルの上端に取り付けられてパネル垂下部材に保護パネルとともに吊り下げられる逆Ｕ字形の掛け具と、保護パネルの下端に取り付けられるレ字形のフックと、を有する崩落事故防止装置である。【選択図】図１
