Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a foreign matter from entering a solenoid device due to breathing, which results from plunger movement.SOLUTION: A solenoid device 1 includes a breathing hole cover 50 that covers an opening 42a of a breathing hole 42 from outside a volume changeable chamber 41, also forms a space 51 communicating with the breathing hole 42, and allows communication between the space 51 and an outside space 52. In this configuration, exchange of oil with the outside space 52, resulting from breathing, is conducted by the space 51. Therefore, even if a foreign matter is sucked into the space during a sucking step, the foreign matter can be discharged outside the space in a discharge step. Accordingly, a risk of sucking the foreign matter into the volume changeable chamber 41 via the breathing hole 42 can be reduced, compared to a case where exchange of oil with the outside space 52, resulting from breathing, is conducted by the breathing hole 42 without the space 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】プランジャの移動に伴う呼吸によって異物がソレノイド装置内に侵入するのを抑制する。【解決手段】ソレノイド装置1は、呼吸孔42の開口42aを容積変動室41の外側から覆うとともに、呼吸孔42に連通する空間51と、この空間51と外部空間52とを連通する開口51aとを形成する呼吸孔カバー50を備える。これによれば、呼吸に伴う外部空間52とのオイルのやり取りをするのは空間51となるため、吸い込み行程で空間内に異物を吸い込んでしまったとしても、吐出行程で異物を空間外に吐き出すことができる。このため、呼吸に伴う外部空間52とのオイルのやりとりを空間51を介さずに呼吸孔42で実施する場合と比較して、呼吸孔42を介する容積変動室41への異物吸い込みリスクを低減できる。【選択図】図2
