Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress utilization exceeding a range of private use, when transmitting content accumulated at home through an external network, according to digital transmission content protection (DTCP).SOLUTION: Utilization of content by a third party which exceeds a range of private use is suppressed by allowing a terminal to perform remote access to content in a server only during a first prescribed period after a registration date of the terminal to the server. The utilization of the content by the third party which exceeds the range of the private use is preferably suppressed by limiting content usable by remote access from the terminal to the content which is stored before a second prescribed period after the registration date of the terminal to the server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 【課題】ＤＴＣＰに従って、家庭内で蓄積したコンテンツを外部ネットワーク経由で伝送する際に、私的利用の範囲を超えた利用を抑制する。【解決手段】端末のサーバーへの登録日時から第１の所定の期間のみ、端末からサーバー内のコンテンツへのリモート・アクセスを可能にして、第三者による私的利用の範囲を超えたコンテンツの利用を抑制する。また、端末がリモート・アクセスにより利用可能なコンテンツを、端末のサーバーへの登録日時から第２の所定の期間以前に記録されたものだけに制限して、第三者による私的利用の範囲を超えたコンテンツの利用を好適に抑制する。【選択図】 図１２
