PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve discrimination accuracy or increase efficiency of verification of a result of discrimination performed by a user in a technique for discriminating the target type through image recognition.SOLUTION: On the basis of an image as a target of recognition, the type of a medical agent as the target of recognition is specified. For each of a plurality of type candidates, a database that stores a feature quantity on the image is used. An image of the target of recognition is acquired. A feature quantity is acquired from the image of the target of recognition. Supplementary information concerning the target of recognition that indicates a type candidate to be selected by priority is acquired.
