Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass article, which has significant resistance to alkali compared to conventional ones and to which dirt such as sands hardly adhere, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The glass article has: a transparent substrate; a functional layer arranged on the transparent substrate; a first protective layer arranged on the functional layer and having difference of visible optical reflectance before and after a test by impregnating the same in a heated NaOH solution with a concentration of 0.1 kmol/mat 90°C for 2 hours within 0.4; and a second protective layer arranged on the first protective layer and having a value obtained by subtracting a haze value before the test from an average of repetition of spraying a JIS test powder and leaving it standing for 10 sec., tilting it at 135°, bringing it into contact with ground twice from a height of 3 cm at a speed of 10 cm/sec. to drop the powder, and measuring the haze value within 1.0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】従来に比べて、アルカリに対して有意な耐性を有し、かつ砂などの汚れが付着しにくいガラス物品及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のガラス物品は、透光性基板と、透光性基板上に設けられる機能層と、機能層上に設けられ、90℃に加熱した濃度0.1kmol/m3のNaOH水溶液中に2時間浸漬させた試験前後の可視光反射率の差が0.4以内である第1の保護層と、第1の保護層上に設けられ、JIS試験粉体を振りかけて10秒静置し、135°傾け、3cmの高さから10cm/秒の勢いで2回地面に接触させて前記粉体を落とし、ヘーズ値を測定することを複数繰り返し、その平均値から試験前のヘーズ値を引いた値が1.0以内である第2の保護層とを備える。【選択図】図2
