PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form part of a seat cover in a recessed shape with good industrial design while avoiding as much as possible an increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: A seat for a vehicle in which a folded first margin part E1 of a first skin piece SP1 is sewn on one edge side of a third skin piece SP3, and a folded second margin part E2 of a second skin piece SP2 is sewn on the other edge side opposite to the one edge of the third skin piece SP3 is configured such that: a planar reinforcement material 20 which is hardly bent and deformed than a seat cover 6S is mounted on the reverse side of the third skin piece SP3; and the first margin part E1 and the second margin part E2 in a folded state are pressed to the reverse side of the corresponding skin piece by the third skin piece SP3 mounted with the reinforcement material 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】部品点数の増加を極力回避しつつ、シートカバーの一部を意匠性良く凹状とすることにある。【解決手段】第三表皮ピースＳＰ３の一縁側に、第一表皮ピースＳＰ１の折り返された第一縫い代部Ｅ１が縫合され、第三表皮ピースＳＰ３の一縁と反対の他縁側に、第二表皮ピースＳＰ２の折り返された第二縫い代部Ｅ２が縫合されている乗物用シートにおいて、第三表皮ピースＳＰ３の裏側に、シートカバー６Ｓよりも撓み変形しにくい面状の補強材２０が取付けられているとともに、補強材２０が取付けられている第三表皮ピースＳＰ３によって、折り返された状態の第一縫い代部Ｅ１と第二縫い代部Ｅ２が対応する表皮ピースの裏側に向けて押圧されている。【選択図】図３
