Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle skeleton structure capable of reducing deformation of a vehicle body due to a collision load in a vehicle width direction at a side collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A connection cross member 38 is bridged between a rear wall part 34C constituting a part of a cross member 34 and extending in the vehicle width direction and a front wall part 36A constituting a part of a cross member 36, extending in the vehicle width direction and opposing to the rear wall part 34C. An end part on one side of the connection cross member 38 in the vehicle longitudinal direction is joined to the rear wall part 34C of the cross member 34 and an end part on the other side of the connection cross member 38 in the vehicle longitudinal direction is joined to the front wall part 36A of the cross member 36. Thus, at the side collision of a vehicle 10, the cross members 34, 36 adjacent to each other in the vehicle longitudinal direction can be supported at positions near a neutral axis of bending thereof in the vehicle longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両の側突時における車両幅方向からの衝突荷重による車体の変形を低減することができる車両骨格構造を得る。【解決手段】クロスメンバ34の一部を構成しかつ車両幅方向に延在する後壁部34Cと、クロスメンバ36の一部を構成しかつ車両幅方向に延在すると共に後壁部34Cと対向する前壁部36Aとの間に連結クロス部材38が架け渡されている。そして、連結クロス部材38の車両前後方向一方側の端部は、クロスメンバ34の後壁部34Cに結合され、連結クロス部材38の車両前後方向他方側の端部は、クロスメンバ36の前壁部36Aに結合されている。このため、車両10の側突時において、車両前後方向に隣り合うクロスメンバ34、36をこれらの車両前後方向の曲げの中立軸から近い位置で支持することができる。【選択図】図1
