Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermal insulation extrusion and a thermal insulation extrusion capable of shortening time necessary for injecting a foaming resin material.SOLUTION: A thermal insulation extrusion 1 comprises an aluminum extrusion 10 including a first extrusion part 20, a second extrusion part 30, and a cavity forming part 40. The cavity forming part 40 has an injection opening 43 along the longitudinal direction of the first extrusion part 20 and the second extrusion part 30. The cavity forming part 40 also has a cavity 40A, coupled to the injection opening 43, between the first extrusion part 20 and the second extrusion part 30. The cavity forming part 40 comprises a first extrusion part 20 side portion and a second extrusion part 30 side portion disposed with a space 44 therebetween.
