Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an object to be preserved such as cells to be embedded inside a gel in a short time and stably preserve the object to be preserved inside the gel even after embedding.SOLUTION: The method of preserving an object to be preserved comprises: a first step of obtaining a sol state first preservation liquid including a sol-gel transition body and the object to be preserved; a second step of leaving the first preservation liquid, after the first step, under 23°C to 42°C conditions such that the first preservation liquid is gelatinized from a sol state to a gel state with a storage elastic modulus of at least 100 Pa after one hour, and enclosing a part or the entirety of the object to be preserved with the sol gel transition body; and a third step of controlling the temperature of the gel-state first preservation liquid, after the second step, maintaining the gel state at a storage elastic modulus of at least 200 Pa, and preserving the object to be preserved.SELECTED DRAWING: None
