Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power system capable of properly suppressing an overcurrent.SOLUTION: An electric power system according to an embodiment is mounted on a railroad vehicle. The electric power system includes a plurality of power units which operate synchronously with each other. The plurality of power units each have a power conversion part, a current detection part, and a control part. The power conversion part converts DC electric power into AC electric power, and outputs it to a common power line. The current detection part detects a current value of the AC electric power output by the power conversion part. The control part cuts off electric power supplied to a load based upon a previously set value and the current value detected by the current detection part. 【課題】過電流をより適切に抑制することができる電源システムを提供することである。【解決手段】実施形態の電源システムは、鉄道車両に搭載される。電源システムは、互いに同期して運転する複数の電源装置を含む。前記複数の電源装置のそれぞれは、電力変換部と、電流検出部と、制御部とを持つ。電力変換部は、直流電力を交流電力に変換して、共通の電力線に出力する。電流検出部は、前記電力変換部により出力された交流電力の電流値を検出する。制御部は、予め設定された設定値と前記電流検出部により検出された電流値とに基づいて、負荷に供給される電力を遮断させる。制御部は、前記複数の電源装置の運転状況に基づいて、前記設定値を変更する。【選択図】図1 |
