Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a display device with a simple configuration and operation.SOLUTION: A display device includes an input device, and controls the input of an image signal to a driving circuit in response to an image operation signal output from the input device. Specifically, the input frequency of the image signal while the input device is not operated is set lower than the input frequency of the image signal while the input device is operated. This can suppress the deterioration (deterioration in display quality) of display while the display device is used, and reduce the power consumption while the display device is not used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】簡便な構成及び動作によって表示装置の消費電力を低減すること。【解決手段】表示装置が入力デバイスを備え、該入力デバイスから出力される画像操作信号に応じて、駆動回路に対する画像信号の入力を制御する。具体的には、入力デバイスが操作されない際の画像信号の入力頻度を、入力デバイスが操作される際の画像信号の入力頻度よりも低くする。これにより、当該表示装置が使用される際の表示の劣化(表示品質の低下)を抑制することが可能となり、且つ使用されない際の消費電力を低減することが可能になる。【選択図】図1
