Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic device capable of accurately discriminating an earthquake from a shock and calculating the strength of the earthquake.SOLUTION: The seismic device includes: an acceleration sensor 10 that sequentially outputs an acceleration value according to the magnitude of the acceleration of an applied vibration; an earthquake determination section 11 that discriminates an earthquake from a shock and determines based on the acceleration value; and a seismic intensity calculation unit 12 that calculates a seismic intensity equivalent value based on the acceleration value.
