Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a differential gear and a drive shaft and a method for manufacturing a vehicle which can reduce manufacturing cost while enabling an inspection of a connecting state of a differential side gear in the differential gear and the drive shaft.SOLUTION: A drive shaft 20 includes a small-diameter part, a middle part 20b, and a large-diameter part 20c in a Y direction. The small-diameter part is inserted into a differential case 190 and connected to a differential side gear. An annular gap region is provided between an end face 20e of the large-diameter part 20c and the differential case 190, and a seal member 24 is provided between the gap. The seal member 24 incudes a metal part 241 and a rubber part 242. An outer peripheral part 242a of the rubber part 242 covers an outer periphery of the gap region. The outer peripheral part 242a elastically deforms due to an application of an external force, and in this state, exposes outwardly to a predetermined part of an inner side in a radial direction of the end face 20e of the large-diameter part 20c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】デファレンシャルギヤにおけるデファレンシャルサイドギヤとドライブシャフトとの結合状態の検査を可能としながら、製造コストの低減を図ることができるデファレンシャルギヤとドライブシャフトとの結合構造及び車両の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ドライブシャフト20はY方向に小径部、中間部20b、大径部20cを有する。小径部がデファレンシャルケース190内に挿入され、デファレンシャルサイドギヤと結合されている。大径部20cの端面20eとデファレンシャルケース190との間に環状の隙間領域が設けられており、シール部材24が隙間部分に配されている。シール部材24は金属部241とゴム部242とを有する。ゴム部242の外周部242aは、隙間領域の外周を覆っている。外周部242aは外部からの力の付加により弾性変形し、当該状態で大径部20cの端面20eの径方向内側の所定部分まで外部に露出する。【選択図】図3 |
