Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance quality of a product film subjected to vacuum process processing by preventing minute wrinkles and scratches from occurring on a film in the process of depressurizing a space including a raw material roll from the atmospheric pressure.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a product roll comprises: connecting a tip portion of a film 41 wound around a raw material roll 40 to an end portion of a lead film 41a; depressurizing the periphery of the raw material roll 40 from the atmospheric pressure atmosphere to a predetermined reduced pressure atmosphere in the state of pressing a pressing member 30 extended in the width direction of the film 41 against the outer peripheral surface of the raw material roll 40; separating the pressing member 30 from the raw material roll 40 in the reduced pressure atmosphere; and feeding the film 41 from the raw material roll 40 in the reduced pressure atmosphere to start vacuum process processing to the film 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】原料ロールを含む空間を大気圧から減圧する過程でフィルムに発生する微小なシワやキズを防止することにより、真空プロセス処理を施して得られる製品フィルムの外観品質を向上させる。【解決手段】原料ロール40に巻回されたフィルム41の先端部をリードフィルム41aの末端部に接続し且つフィルム41の幅方向に延びた押圧部材30を原料ロール40の外周面に押し当てた状態で、原料ロール40の周囲を大気圧雰囲気から所定の減圧雰囲気に減圧する。次いで、減圧雰囲気下で押圧部材30を原料ロール40から離間させる。その後、減圧雰囲気下でフィルム41を原料ロール40から繰り出してフィルム41に対して真空プロセス処理を開始する。【選択図】図1
