Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve downsizing of a sub hammer support structure in a rotary impact tool having a main hammer and a sub hammer.SOLUTION: In a rotary impact tool 1, a sub hammer support structure has a structure where multiple steel balls 17 are disposed between a sub hammer 21 and a carrier 16. The multiple steel balls 17 are disposed between a first holding groove 21g of the sub hammer 21 and a second holding groove 16a of the carrier 16 so as to receive a load in a direction different from a rotation axis direction and a radial direction orthogonal to the rotation axis direction. Cross sections of the first holding groove 21g and the second holding groove 16a, which are cross sections when viewed in a rotation axis direction, are formed into arc shapes. Sectional radii of the first holding groove 21g and the second holding groove 16a are larger than the steel ball 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】主ハンマと副ハンマとを有する回転打撃工具において、副ハンマの支持構造の小型化を実現する。【解決手段】回転打撃工具1において、副ハンマ支持構造は、副ハンマ21とキャリア16の間に複数の鋼球17を配置した構造をもつ。複数の鋼球17は、回転軸線方向および回転軸線方向に直交する径方向とは異なる方向の荷重を受けるように、副ハンマ21の第1保持溝21gとキャリア16の第2保持溝16aの間に配置される。第1保持溝21gおよび第2保持溝16aの回転軸線方向の断面は、円弧状に形成され、それぞれの断面半径は、鋼球17よりも大きい。【選択図】図1
