Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic fluid having a higher thermal conductivity when a magnetic field is applied thereto.SOLUTION: A magnetic fluid contains magnetic particles in a solvent. Each of the magnetic particles has a core-shell structure, and the core is made of nickel or iron while the shell is made of copper. When a magnetic field is applied to the magnetic fluid and the magnetic particles in the magnetic contact with one another, a heat conduction path between these magnetic particles is sufficiently secured by copper of high thermal conductivity which is coated on nickel or iron particles. As a result, the magnetic fluid is capable of having a higher thermal conductivity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】磁場を印加したとき、一層高い熱伝導性を有する磁性流体を提供する。
