PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved type CPA device, which can be easily operated with relatively simple constitution.SOLUTION: A connector main body constructed so as to be alternately connected with a corresponded mating connector main body, includes a pair of a column part (114) in a longitudinal direction that is extended from the connector main body, and is actually directed in parallel to a fitting axial line of the connector main body. The column part (114) in the longitudinal direction defines: side direction slots (116) to be surrounded, which includes a closed end part; and a connector position assurance (CPA) device (120) that is engaged in each side direction slot (116), is coupled to the mating connector main body corresponded to the connector main body, and can be moved to a terminal position from an initial position along the fitting axial line. The CPA device (120) includes a cross bar (122) in a lateral direction extended to each side direction slot (116), and holds the cross bar (122) in each side direction slot (116).
