Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, in the prior art, it is desirable to increase the detection sensitivity of gas.SOLUTION: A battery system includes: a container including a first outlet; a power generation element contained in the container and disposed inside the container; a measurement unit that measures gas concentration inside the container; a first opening and closing unit connected to the first outlet; and a control unit that controls the first opening and closing unit.
