PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the drying property of low grade coal.SOLUTION: A drier for drying low grade coal while fluidizing the same using prescribed fluidization gas, comprises a plurality of coal charging parts that receive low grade coal, a plurality of partition plates that divide the inner space thereof correspondingly to the individual coal charging parts to form a plurality of fluidized beds each corresponding to the individual coal charging parts, a plurality of gas ejection parts that individually eject the fluidization gas into each of the fluidized beds, a heating part provided in the plurality of fluidized beds to heat the fluidized beds, a plurality of coal discharging parts disposed away from the plurality of coal charging parts, and a gas exhaust part disposed away from the plurality of gas ejection parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】低品位炭に関する乾燥性の向上を図る。【解決手段】所定の流動化ガスを用いることにより低品位炭を流動化させつつ乾燥させる乾燥装置であって、低品位炭を受け入れる複数の炭投入部と、炭投入部に対応させて内部空間を仕切ことにより、炭投入部に対応した複数の流動層を設定する仕切板と、流動化ガスを複数の流動層に個別に噴射する複数のガス噴射部と、複数の流動層内に設けられ、当該流動層を加熱する加熱部と、炭投入部から離間して設けられた炭排出部と、ガス噴射部から離間して設けられたガス排気部とを備える。【選択図】図２
