PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen case in which modification can be easily done from a shape suitable for carrying writing instruments to a shape suitable for standing and holding it.SOLUTION: A pen case 10 is provided which includes: a cylindrical part 11 that extends cylindrically; constriction part 12 that extends from the lower end of the cylindrical part 11 and that is formed to have smaller outer diameter towards the bottom; a bottom part 13 that extends from the lower end of the constriction part 12 and that closes the lower part of the cylindrical part 11; and a lid part 2 that closes the opening in the upper end of the cylindrical part 11. In the upper end and the lower end of the constriction part 12 of the pen case 10, there are provided bent hinges 12a, 12b which are two-staged, thin and grooved, with the bottom part 13 made to be stored inside the cylindrical part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】筆記具を持ち運ぶのに適した形態から筆記具を立てて保持する形態への変形を簡単な操作で行えるペンケースを提供する。【解決手段】筒状に延びた筒状部１１と、筒状部１１の下端部から延び出て底に向かうにしたがって外径が小さくなるように形成される絞部１２と、絞部１２の下端から延び出て筒状部１１の下方を閉塞する底部１３と、筒状部１１の上端の開口部を閉塞する蓋部２と、を備えたペンケース１０において、絞部１２の上端及び下端に２段の肉薄の溝状の折曲ヒンジ１２ａ、１２ｂを設け、底部１３を筒状部１１の内側に収容可能としたペンケース１０が提供される。【選択図】図１
