Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or prevent a risk of drawing a tube during continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment.SOLUTION: A positive airway pressure system for treating a respiratory disturbance such as obstructive sleep apnea syndrome includes a mask to be fitted on a face of a wearer, the mask having a shell, a cushion attached to the shell so as to bring the mask into close contact with the face, the cushion forming a chamber between the face and the inner side of the mask, a head gear for securing the mask to a head, an airflow generation source attached to a part of a body of the wearer by attachment means, and a tube that connects the mask to the airflow generation source such that the mask and the airflow generation source communicate with each other. The airflow generation source supplies a breathable gas to the wearer. An airflow supplied by the airflow generation source generates a pressure in a range of 2-40 cmHO in the air chamber so as to be suitable for the treatment of the respiratory disturbance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】CPAP治療時のチューブの引っ張りのリスクを低減あるいは回避する。【解決手段】閉塞型睡眠時無呼吸症候群等の呼吸障害を治療するための気道陽圧システムは、着用者の顔に係合するマスクであって、シェルと、顔に対してマスクを密封的に連結するようシェルに付設されたクッションであって顔とマスク内部の間にチャンバを形成するクッションと、チャンバに対してエア流通可能とされたベント穴とを備えたマスクと;頭にマスクを固定するためのヘッドギアと;取付手段によって着用者の身体の一部に対して取り付けられたエア流生成源と;マスクがエア流生成源に対してエア流通可能となるようにしてマスクをエア流生成源に連結するチューブと;を具備し、エア流生成源が着用者に呼吸可能ガスを供給し、エア流生成源によって供給されたエア流が呼吸障害治療に好適であるようエアチャンバ内において2〜40cmH2Oの範囲の圧力を形成する。【選択図】図1
