PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method of unauthorized take-out of a paper sheet and a detection system thereof during conveyance of a rejected paper sheet cassette.SOLUTION: A detection method of unauthorized take-out of a paper sheet according to the embodiment comprises steps of: storing in a rejected paper sheet cassette at least one rejected sheet sorted by a sorting processing of paper sheets; arranging a sorting card provided with an IC card on the rejected paper sheet; reading the information of the sorting card with an IC card reader provided in the rejected paper sheet cassette while the rejected paper sheet cassette containing the rejected paper sheet and the sorting card are conveyed; and detecting unauthorized take-out of the rejected paper sheet from the rejected paper sheet cassette based on the lateral position or distance of the sorting card read with the IC card reader.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】排除券カセットの搬送中における排除券の不正取出を検知することが可能な紙葉類不正取出検知方法および紙葉類不正取出検知システムを提供することである。【解決手段】実施形態の紙葉類不正取出検知方法は、紙葉類の振分け処理により振分けられた少なくとも１枚の排除券を排除券カセットに収容し、前記排除券上にＩＣカードを備えた区分カードを配置し、前記排除券および区分カードを収容した前記排除券カセットを搬送する間、前記区分カードの情報を前記排除券カセットに設けられたＩＣカードリーダで読み取り、前記ＩＣカードリーダによって読み取られた前記区分カードの横方向の位置または距離に基づいて、前記排除券カセットからの前記排除券の不正取出を検知する。【選択図】図８
