Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform panic neutral control on the basis of determination criteria set depending on whether an ABS device is normal or abnormal.SOLUTION: A control device for an automatic transmission including a torque converter with a lock-up clutch capable of coupling an output shaft of an engine with an input shaft of the automatic transmission includes: a release determination section for determining whether an engagement state of an engagement mechanism constituting a set shift stage of the automatic transmission is released on the basis of deceleration and reference deceleration when braking operation is detected; and a control section for controlling the engagement mechanism on the basis of the determination made by the release determination section. When the deceleration is larger than the reference deceleration corresponding to a fail state of an ABS device, the release determination section determines that the engagement state of the engagement mechanism is released. When the deceleration reaches equal to or less than the reference deceleration corresponding to the fail state or when reference deceleration corresponding to the normal state of the ABS device is set, the release determination section determines that the engagement state of the engagement mechanism is maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】ABS装置の正常、または異常の状態別に設定した判定基準に基づいてパニックニュートラル制御を行うこと。【解決手段】エンジンの出力軸と自動変速機の入力軸とを連結可能なロックアップクラッチを有するトルクコンバータを備えた自動変速機の制御装置は、ブレーキ操作が検出されたときに、設定されている自動変速機の変速段を構成する係合機構の係合状態を解放状態にするか否かを、減速度および基準減速度に基づいて判定する解放判定部と、解放判定部の判定に基づいて、係合機構を制御する制御部とを備える。解放判定部は、減速度が、ABS装置のフェール状態に応じた基準減速度より大きい場合に、係合機構の係合状態を解放状態にすると判定し、減速度がフェール状態に応じた基準減速度以下となる場合、または、ABS装置の正常状態に応じた基準減速度が設定されている場合に、係合機構の係合状態を保持すると判定する。【選択図】図7
