PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior body of an automatic door apparatus having a configuration in which a gasket is not intervened between a fixing side member and a cover member, which prevents relative vibration of the cover member with respect to the fixing side member.SOLUTION: An automatic door apparatus includes an exterior body 21 storing a drive mechanism of a door body. The exterior body 21 includes a fixing side member which has a linear rail and is fixed to a fixing body, a cover member covering at least the front surface of the fixing side member, and a fixing means for fixing the cover member to the fixing side member. The fixing side member has a reception surface pressed by the cover member when the cover member is fixed to the fixing side member by the fixing means.
