Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing wet performance by devising a shape of a siping disposed at a tread part.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a chamfered siping 12 and a non-chamfered siping. In the chamfered siping 12, one end part 12c terminates in a rib 10, on the other hand, the other end part 12d communicates with any one of main grooves 9 located at both sides of the rib 10. The chamfered sipings 12 communicating with each of the main grooves 9 located at both sides of the rib 10 are alternately arranged in a tire circumferential direction. The non-chamfered siping 13 is arranged adjacent to one side of the chamfered siping 12 in at least the tire circumferential direction. A radius of curvature TR of an arc forming a tread profile and a radius of curvature RR of an outer contour line of the rib 10 having the chamfered siping 12 satisfy relation of TR>RR. Width Nwof the non-chamfered siping 13 at a peak P to be the outermost side in the tire radial direction of the rib 10 having the chamfered siping 12 and the minimum width Nwat the non-chamfered siping 13 satisfy relation of Nw>Nw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】トレッド部に設けたサイプの形状を工夫することにより、ウエット性能を向上させることを可能にした空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】面取りサイプ12と非面取りサイプを有し、面取りサイプ12はリブ10内で一端部12cが終端する一方で他端部12dがリブ10の両側に位置する主溝9のいずれか一方に連通し、リブ10の両側に位置する主溝9のそれぞれに連通した面取りサイプ12がタイヤ周方向に交互に配置され、非面取りサイプ13は面取りサイプ12の少なくともタイヤ周方向の片側に隣接して配置され、トレッドプロファイルを成す円弧の曲率半径TRと面取りサイプ12を有するリブ10の外輪郭線の曲率半径RRとがTR>RRの関係を満たし、面取りサイプ12を有するリブ10のタイヤ径方向最外側となる頂点Pでの非面取りサイプ13の幅NwPと非面取りサイプ13における最小幅NwMとがNwP>NwMの関係を満たす。【選択図】図2 |
