Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle beam treatment device capable of acquiring an X-ray image of high quality with a simple configuration, and performing treatment in a short time, an operation method thereof, and a moving plate.SOLUTION: A particle beam treatment device 10 includes a particle beam irradiation machine 16 for emitting a particle beam B, a rotary gantry 21 for supporting the particle beam irradiation machine 16, a moving floor composed of a plurality of moving plates 37 along a circling direction of the rotary gantry 21, which forms a horizontal part below a top plate 18 on which an irradiated body is placed, an X-ray generator 27a for generating an X-ray, and an X-ray detector 27b for detecting an X-ray arriving through the moving floor. At least one of the moving plates 37 includes a first floor member that transmits an X-ray so that it can be detected by the X-ray detector 27b, and a second floor member whose X-ray transmissivity is smaller than that of the first floor member.
