Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate having a desired pattern on a surface and achieving reduction in the number of process and low cost accompanied by the reduction in the number of process, a method for manufacturing the same, and a light-emitting element and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: Photosensitivity is granted to a dielectric film composition itself and concave section pattern can be formed even with no photoresist film. A flat substrate 1a is prepared, a dielectric substance having photosensitive agent is formed on the substrate, the dielectric substance is subjected to pattern forming, and the dielectric substance having a desired pattern is formed on a surface of the substrate.
