Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability and durability of a power supply system.SOLUTION: The power supply system includes a first power supply device and a second power supply device that supply power from a power supply to a load. The second power supply device has a second storage battery and is connected to the first power supply device. The first power supply device includes: a switching unit having an output terminal electrically connectable to a first switch and the load; and a power storage device having a first storage battery, a control unit, a second switch, and an external input terminal. The second switch has at least one of an off function that turns off the second switch when at least one of a control signal from the control unit and an external input signal supplied from the outside to the external input terminal is a signal for turning off the second switch and an on function that turns on the second switch when both the control signal and the external input signal are signals for turning on the second switch.
