Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device in which light incidence from a light guide passage on an electric charge storage unit is sufficiently suppressed.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes a row circuit unit 102, a horizontal scan circuit 103, and an output circuit 104. The row circuit unit 102 comprises a plurality of row circuits. Each of the plurality of row circuits is arranged so as to correspond to one of a plurality of row signal lines 10. Each of the plurality of row circuits outputs to the output circuit a signal obtained by amplifying a signal output to a row signal line 10. The horizontal scan circuit sequentially selects the plurality of row circuits included in the row circuit unit. Thereby, signals held by the respective row circuits are sequentially output to the output circuit. The output circuit outputs a signal to the outside of the imaging device. The signal output by the output circuit is a signal to be output by the imaging device. The imaging device further includes a control circuit 105.
