Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent glass plate in which an alkali metal scarcely diffuses onto a surface of the glass plate, and with which degradation of characteristics of a transparent conductive oxide film is suppressed.SOLUTION: When an average value of hydrogen concentration at a region with a depth of 0.5-1.5 μm from a surface of a glass plate is denoted by surface layer hydrogen concentration, and hydrogen concentration at a region with a depth of 0.5-1.5 μm from a surface of a glass plate of which the depth region with a depth of 100 μm from the surface of the before-mentioned glass plate has been removed is denoted by internal hydrogen concentration, a glass plate has a value represented by ((surface layer hydrogen concentration)/(internal hydrogen concentration)) of 0.80 or less. When the thickness of the glass plate is 0.2 mm or less, however, hydrogen concentration at a region with a depth of 0.5-1.5 μm from a surface of a glass plate of which the depth region with a depth being half of the thickness of the glass plate has been removed is denoted by internal hydrogen concentration.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】アルカリ金属がガラス板表面に拡散しにくく、透明導電性酸化物膜の特性の低下を抑制可能な優れたガラス板を提供する。【解決手段】ガラス板の表面から深さ0.5〜1.5μmの領域における水素濃度の平均値を表層水素濃度とし、前記ガラス板の表面から深さ100μmの領域が除去されたガラス板の表面から深さ0.5〜1.5μmの領域における水素濃度を内部水素濃度として、(表層水素濃度/内部水素濃度)で表される値が0.80以下である、ガラス板。ただし、ガラス板の厚みが0.2mm以下の場合は、ガラス板の厚みの半分の深さ領域が除去されたガラス板の表面から深さ0.5〜1.5μmの領域における水素濃度を内部水素濃度とする。【選択図】なし
