Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the jitter performance of a signal transmission device.SOLUTION: A signal transmission device is arranged to transmit signals of 10 Gbps or more per one route. The signal transmission device comprises: a GND layer formed on a substrate; a dielectric layer formed on the GND layer; a first node formed on the dielectric layer and soldered to a first transmission line outside the device; a second node formed on the dielectric layer, and removably connected to a second transmission line outside the device; and a third transmission line formed on the dielectric layer and serving to transmit the signal between the first and second nodes. The impedance of the third transmission line in signal transmission is set within a range of ±10% of an impedance of one of the first and second nodes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】信号伝送装置のジッタ特性を向上させる。【解決手段】1経路あたり10Gbps以上の信号を伝送する信号伝送装置であって、基板上に形成されたGND層と、GND層の上に形成された誘電体層と、誘電体層の上に形成されて、装置外部の第1の伝送線路と半田接続される第1の接続点と、誘電体層の上に形成されて、装置外部の第2の伝送線路と着脱可能に接続される第2の接続点と、誘電体層の上に形成されて、第1の接続点と第2の接続点の間で前記信号の伝送を行う第3の伝送線路と、を備える。そして、信号の伝送時における第3の伝送線路のインピーダンスが、第1の接続点および第2の接続点のいずれか一つのインピーダンスのプラスマイナス10%の範囲に設定されている。【選択図】 図6 |
