Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member in which a thin and light-weight vibration damping sheet is not closely contact with an entire cover surface in a state of having no gap and which can reduce a radiation sound with a simple configuration, an image formation device using the cover member, and a cover member manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A cover member including an outer wall surface and an inner wall surface for covering an opening of an image formation device body includes: a vibration damping sheet facing the inner wall surface for damping vibration of the image formation device body; a fixing section for fixing the vibration damping sheet to the inner wall surface at a first position in a first direction; and a tensile force applying section for fixing the vibration damping sheet at a second position different from the first position in the first direction and applying tensile force to the vibration damping sheet without making the whole surface of the vibration damping sheet in close contact with the inner wall surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
