Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a sheet conveyance device that are capable of reducing consumption power by an electromagnetic clutch.SOLUTION: A driving force is transmitted to a load in a state where a connected member is located at a connection position. The driving force is not transmitted to the load in a state where the connected member is located at a separated position. A cam member is rotated during electrification of a connection electromagnetic clutch, and is continued to be stopped during no electrification of the connection electromagnetic clutch. In a first electrification processing, electrification to the connection electromagnetic clutch is stopped (T49) when rotating to a rotation position at which the cam member locates the connected member at the connection position. The connected member is kept at the connection position in a period of time (T49 - T54) until the connection electromagnetic clutch is electrified again by a second electrification processing after the electrification of the connection electromagnetic clutch is terminated by the first electrification processing, and thus the driving force is transmitted to the load even though the electrification to the connection electromagnetic clutch is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 【課題】電磁クラッチによる消費電力を低減できる、画像形成装置およびシート搬送装置を提供する。【解決手段】被連結部材が連結位置に位置する状態では、駆動力が負荷に伝達される。被連結部材が離間位置に位置する状態では、駆動力が負荷に伝達されない。カム部材は、連結電クラの通電時に回転し、連結電クラの非通電時に停止し続ける。第1通電処理では、連結電クラに通電されて、カム部材が被連結部材を連結位置に位置させる回転位置まで回転したときに、連結電クラへの通電が停止される(T49)。第1通電処理で連結電クラの通電が終了してから第2通電処理で連結電クラが再び通電されるまでの間(T49−T54)、被連結部材が連結位置に保持されるので、連結電クラへの通電を停止した状態であっても負荷に駆動力が伝達される。【選択図】図14
