Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter membrane capable of efficiently proceeding a filtration process and obtaining good reproducible data since an opening is hardly clogged by the other material when used in applications such as inspection, experiment and the like.SOLUTION: In a filter membrane where a plurality of openings are formed and a specific material in a processing medium is selectively separated from the other material by using the openings, the filter membrane has a first surface being a side supplied with the processing medium and a second surface existing at the opposite side of the first surface, the shape of a cross section including the openings and being vertical to the second surface includes an opening formed at least from the second surface toward the first surface and an expansion part where the largeness of the opening is expanded before the opening reaches the first surface, and the first surface except the expansion part is continued.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】 検査や実験等の用途で使用した際に、開口が他の物質で塞がりにくく、効率よく濾過工程を進めることができ、再現性のよいデータを得ることができるフィルタ膜を提供する。【解決手段】 複数の開口が形成され、前記開口を利用して処理媒体中の特定の材料を、他の材料から選択的に分離するフィルタ膜であって、前記フィルタ膜は、前記処理媒体が供給される側である第一の面と、第一の面と反対側の第二の面とを有し、前記開口を含み、前記第二の面に垂直な断面の形状は、少なくとも前記第二の面から第一の面に向かって形成された開口部と、前記開口部が前記第一の面に到達する前に開口部の大きさが拡張された拡張部とを含み、前記拡張部を除いた第一の面は、連続していることを特徴とするフィルタ膜。【選択図】 図5
