Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce components for performing a temperature management in a rotary electric machine assembly and to facilitate the temperature management by integrating an electric motor with an inverter thermally.SOLUTION: In a rotary electric machine having a housing, a stator attached to the housing, a rotator fixed to a rotation shaft, a bearing supporting the rotation shaft and an end bracket to which the bearing is attached, a power conversion device supplying drive current to an armature of the rotary electric machine, a control board controlling the rotary electric machine through the power conversion device are provided on an outer peripheral portion of the housing, which is a rotary electric machine assembly. A temperature detector is provided in an area contacting the power conversion device and the housing within the power conversion device, and the control board lowers a frequency of AC power outputted from the power conversion device when a temperature detected by the temperature detector is higher than a predetermined temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】 回転電機組立体において、温度管理をするための構成部品を低減しつつ、電動機とインバータを熱的に一体として温度管理を容易にする。【解決手段】 ハウジングと、ハウジングに取り付けられる固定子と、回転軸に固定された回転子と、前記回転軸を支持する軸受と、前記軸受が取り付けられるエンドブラケットを有する回転電機において、当該回転電機の電機子に駆動電流を供給する電力変換装置と、当該電力変換装置を介して前記回転電機を制御する制御基板と、を前記ハウジングの外周部に配置した回転電機組立体であって、前記電力変換装置内であって、前記電力変換装置と前記ハウジングが接触する領域に温度検出器を備え、前記制御基板は、前記温度検出器により検出された温度が所定の温度よりも高い場合は、前記電力変換装置より出力する交流電力の周波数を下げることを特徴とする。【選択図】図4 |
