Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a curable liquid developer which has the small toner particle diameter and is excellent in the curing speed at the time of image formation.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a curable liquid developer containing toner particles having a coloring agent and binder resin, a dispersant and an insulation liquid (a) not dissolved in the binder resin includes: a step (1) of preparing the mixture containing the coloring agent, the binder resin, the insulation liquid (a), a solvent (b) dissolved in the binder resin and the dispersant dissolved in both of the insulation liquid (a) and the solvent (b); and a step (2) of removing the solvent (b) from the mixture. The insulation liquid (a) contains a monomer having the polymerizable functional group. The molar average functional group number of the insulation liquid (a) is equal to or greater than 1.8. The molar average SP value of the insulation liquid (a) is equal to or less than 9.0.
