Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge an operation region where combustion is performed with compression ignition, while suppressing the generation of combustion noise in a compression self-ignition type engine.SOLUTION: A control device for the compression self-ignition type engine includes: an engine 1, state quantity setting devices 23, 24, 43, 48, 54, a spark plug 25, a controller (ECU 10), and sensors SW1-SW16. The spark plug ignites air-fuel mixture at a predetermined timing after receiving a control signal from the controller so that the combustion of the ignited air-fuel mixture with its flame propagation is followed by the combustion of unburnt air-fuel mixture in a combustion chamber 17 with its self-ignition. The controller changes an SI rate according to the operating condition of the engine. The controller also adjust the SI rate when determining that the adjustment of the SI rate is needed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】圧縮自己着火式エンジンにおいて燃焼騒音の発生を抑制しながら、圧縮着火による燃焼を行う運転領域を拡大する。【解決手段】圧縮自己着火式エンジンの制御装置は、エンジン1と、状態量設定デバイス23、24、43、48、54と、点火プラグ25と、コントローラー(ECU10)と、センサSW1〜SW16と、を備える。点火プラグは、点火された混合気が火炎伝播により燃焼し、その後、燃焼室17の中の未燃混合気が自己着火により燃焼するように、コントローラーの制御信号を受けて、所定のタイミングで混合気に点火をする。コントローラーは、SI率を、エンジンの運転状態に応じて変更する。コントローラーはまた、SI率の調整が必要と判断したときに、SI率を調整する。【選択図】図8 |
