Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in motor load and a deterioration in quality of a woven fabric due to the difference in warp tension of a motion frame and a retention frame even when a part of a heald frames is held at the retention position during weaving like a twill weave or a satin weave.SOLUTION: A loom includes a plurality of heald frame drive systems in which a single heald frame is independently driven through a crank mechanism by one-way rotation of a single shedding motor. A shedding machine includes control means for controlling the shedding motor so that the heald frame moves correspondingly to the shedding curve. The control means controls the shedding motor to rotate in one direction during the movement of the heald frame. When the heddle frame is retained in the shedding state, the heald frame is closed by a set amount from the top dead center or bottom dead center and then stopped. After the stopping, the shedding motor is controlled so as to restart the shedding movement of the heald frame by reversing the rotation direction of the shedding motor from that before stopping.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】綾織や繻子織のように製織中に一部の綜絖枠が停留位置に保持される場合においても、動作枠と停留枠の経糸張力の差に起因するモータ負荷の上昇や織物品質の低下を抑制する。【解決手段】単一の開口モータの一方向回転により単一の綜絖枠がクランク機構を介して独立に駆動される綜絖枠駆動系を複数備える。開口曲線に対応して綜絖枠が移動するように開口モータを制御する制御手段を備える。制御手段は、綜絖枠の移動中は開口モータを一方向に回転させるように制御し、綜絖枠を開口状態で停留させる場合は、綜絖枠が上死点あるいは下死点から設定量だけ口閉じした後に停止させ、停止後、開口モータの回転方向を停止前とは反転して綜絖枠の開口運動を再開するように開口モータを制御する。【選択図】図5
