PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine including a hot water generation device which suppresses staying of washing water and foreign substances in a heater storage container at draining time.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a washing machine body 11; a water tub 13 supported inside the washing machine body 11, and having a drain port at a bottom part; and a heater unit 32 arranged at a lower position than the water tub 13, and communicated with an inner bottom part of the water tub 13. The heater unit 32 has: a heater storage container 37 for storing a heater 38 for heating washing water inside; and the heater 38 inserted in the heater storage container 37 from an opening of the heater storage container 37 and for heating the washing water. The heater storage container 37 is formed so that an inner wall bottom surface becomes a downward inclined surface toward a drain cock unit 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】本発明の温水生成装置を備えた洗濯機は、排水時にヒータ収容容器内の洗濯水や異物が滞留することを抑制することを目的とする。【解決手段】洗濯機は、洗濯機本体１１と、洗濯機本体１１の内部に支持され底部に排水口を有する水槽１３と、水槽１３より下方に配置され水槽１３の内底部と連通するヒータユニット３２と、を備える。ヒータユニット３２は、洗濯水を加熱するヒータ３８を内部に収納するヒータ収容容器３７と、ヒータ収容容器３７の開口からヒータ収容容器３７内に挿入され洗濯水を加熱するヒータ３８と、を備える。ヒータ収容容器３７は、内壁底面が排水コックユニット３４に向けて下向き傾斜面となるよう形成されている。【選択図】図９
