Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a polarizing plate bonded via an adhesive layer to a glass cell for liquid crystal display, which sufficiently suppresses a white void and can perform good display.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes polarizing plates adhered via adhesive layers to both surfaces of a glass cell for liquid crystal display, the polarizing plate having a polarizing film comprising a dichroic dye adsorbed and oriented in a polyvinyl alcohol resin, in such a manner that absorption axes of the polarizing plates are orthogonal to each other. At least one of the adhesive layers is formed of an adhesive composition comprising (A) 100 parts by mass of a (meth)acrylate resin, (B) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent, and (C) 0.03 to 1 part by weight of a silane compound. The adhesive layer has a gel fraction of 10 to 65 wt.% and a storage modulus of 0.1 to 0.6 MPa at 23°C. The liquid crystal display device has a visual size of 110 mm×180 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】液晶表示用ガラスセルに粘着剤層を介して偏光板が貼合された液晶表示装置であって、白ヌケが十分に抑制され、良好な表示が可能な液晶表示装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の液晶表示装置は、液晶表示用ガラスセルの両面に、粘着剤層を介して、ポリビニルアルコール系樹脂に二色性色素が吸着配向された偏光フィルムを有する偏光板が互いに偏光板の吸収軸が直交するように貼着されてなり、該粘着剤層のうち少なくとも一方は、(A)(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系樹脂100部、(B)架橋剤0.01〜5重量部、(C)シラン系化合物0.03〜1重量部を含有する粘着剤組成物から形成されており、該粘着剤層は10〜65重量%のゲル分率であって、且つ23℃において0.1〜0.6MPaの貯蔵弾性率を有し、ビジュアルサイズが110mm×180mm以下である。【選択図】図1 |
