Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance pipe having a double pipe structure and excellent workability, which may be so securely installed and easily replaced that gas leakage hardly occurs.SOLUTION: A lance pipe 1 is provided with: a metallic inner tube 11 serving as a passage of a treating agent containing at least one of a solid and a gas; a metallic outer tube 12 fixed to the inner tube 11 so as to cover the outer peripheral face of the inner tube 11, which forms a cooling gas passage 121 between the outer tube and the outer peripheral face of the inner tube 11; and a flange 14 fixed to one end of the inner tube 11 and the outer tube 12 and attached to a molten metal processing apparatus 2 for supplying the treat agent and the cooling gas. The flange 14 has: an introduction opening 1411 for receiving a cooling gas from the molten metal processing apparatus 2; a lead-out opening 1412 which opens into the cooling gas passage; and an internal passage 141 extending in the radial direction of a flange formed inside the flange 14 connecting the introduction opening 1411 and the lead-out opening 1412.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
