Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling apparatus allowing for suppression of meandering of a cast strip in an inline mill when a thin cast strip cast by a twin-drum type thin cast strip continuous casting apparatus is sent to the inline mill and rolled.SOLUTION: Rolling equipment is provided in which a cast strip cast by a twin-drum type continuous casting apparatus is rolled by a pair of work rolls, each of the work rolls is composed of: a diametrically enlarged portion present in one end side in the roll axial direction and diametrically enlarged toward the other end side from one end in the roll axial direction; a diametrically reduced portion present in the other end side in the roll axial direction and diametrically reduced toward the other end from one end side in the roll axial direction; and an intermediate portion present between the diametrically enlarged portion and the diametrically reduced portion, and diametrically enlarged after diametrically reduced toward the diametrically reduced portion side from the diametrically enlarged portion side. Each roll has such a roll profile that the diameter thereof becomes maximum in a boundary portion between the diametrically enlarged portion and the intermediate portion, becomes minimum in the intermediate portion and becomes maximum in a boundary portion between the intermediate portion and the diametrically reduced portion, and the work rolls are arranged in point symmetry and relatively movable in the roll axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】双ドラム式薄肉鋳片連続鋳造装置で鋳造した薄肉鋳片をインラインミルに送って圧延する場合に、インラインミルにおける蛇行を抑制することが可能な圧延装置を提供する。【解決手段】双ドラム式連続鋳造装置により鋳造された鋳片を一対のワークロールによって圧延する圧延設備であって、各ワークロールは、ロール軸方向の一端側にあって当該ロール軸方向の一端から他端側に向かって拡径する拡径部と、ロール軸方向の他端側にあってロール軸方向の一端側から他端に向かって縮径する縮径部と、拡径部と縮径部との間にあって拡径部側から縮径部側へ向かって縮径した後拡径する中間部と、からなり、ロール径が、拡径部と中間部との境界部で極大、中間部で極小、中間部と縮径部との境界部で極大となるロールプロフィルを有しており、点対称に、かつ、ロール軸方向に相対移動可能に配置されている。【選択図】図4
